FamilySearch expanded its free online archives with 49 million new, fully searchable family history records in the week of 24 December 2023 with 10 million more records for the United States and Brazil , and records numbering in the millions for Colombia, the Czech Republic, El Salvador, India, Portugal, Russia, and Venezuela. New historical records were also added to collections for Argentina, Belgium, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ireland, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Zimbabwe, and elsewhere.
